Karen, can you take me back in the Zane line and let me know who the grandparents,etc were? My husband's 6th grandfather back was Ebenezer Zane of Wheeling, West Virginia. Thanks, Ruth Woods

Skip, Do you have anything on the Fink family going back from Caroline's father John? As for your descendants of Ebenezer Zane, you have what I have. I am still trying to find a death date for my grandfather John Piper. Karen

The complete death date for Caroline V. Fink, wife of James William Zane is Monday, September 20, 1880. (source is her mortuary notice)
I''ve seen an error on a website as September 22, 1880, but that is the publication date of her mortuary notice in the Wheeling Register (Wheeling, WV)
In the next day or so, I''ll post the mortuary notice in the news section.
