The full title is Discovering Your Roots: An Introduction to Genealogy. It consists of 3 DVDs and a small textbook; it covers 15 half-hour lessons. The first 10 lessons cover record sources, beginning at home and continuing through online sources, libraries, and government sources.
I was surprised to find that the last five lessons are advice on how to write an engaging genealogy, and I was impressed. They seem to be material that genealogists of any level could benefit by studying.
A library near me had the set, and I was able to borrow it (for one week!) on interlibrary loan. I recommend it.
